Job Description:

Nexus Zambia is seeking a creative and skilled Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain our web applications and websites in Lusaka. The Web Developer will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and user experience of our web presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web applications and websites.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct testing and debugging of web applications.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Maintain and update existing web applications and websites.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Ensure web security and compliance with standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Web Developer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of web development languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Proficiency in web development tools and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in web development.
