Web Designer

Job Summary:
Ndola Prime is seeking a creative and skilled Web Designer to join our marketing and IT teams. In this role, you will be responsible for designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites that effectively communicate our brand and services. Your artistic vision and technical skills will enhance our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Create engaging and intuitive web designs that align with our brand identity and enhance user experience. Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas.
• Collaboration: Work closely with web developers and content creators to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and effectively. Provide design specifications and assets as needed.
• User Experience: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs. Ensure that designs are responsive and optimized for various devices.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency across all web platforms and marketing materials. Ensure that all designs adhere to established guidelines and standards.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies. Incorporate innovative design solutions to improve website aesthetics and functionality.
• Documentation: Maintain documentation of design processes, guidelines, and standards. Prepare reports on design performance and user engagement metrics.
• Training: Provide guidance and training to junior designers and team members on design principles and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in web design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design work.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma).
• Strong understanding of user experience and responsive design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
