Truck Driver

Job Summary:
Our transport company is looking for a qualified and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate a truck and/or trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently to client sites, while following company rules and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport goods safely for both long-distance and local deliveries.
• Ensure cargo is loaded, secured properly, and offloaded.
• Conduct pre-trip and post- trip inspections with maintenance team to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
• Ensure on-time and safe delivery of goods according to planned routes and schedules.
• Keep accurate delivery logs, fuel receipts, and required documentation.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and team members

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Zambian PSV driver’s license class CE – D, G with a clean driving record.
• A Dangerous Goods Category Driving license is an added advantage
• 3-5 years of truck driving experience, preferably with international or long-distance
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and fixing basic truck issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be medically fit
