Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:
Emerald Sky is looking for a knowledgeable and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee our supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Your expertise will be key to optimizing our supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the organization’s goals. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Procurement Management: Oversee the procurement process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management. Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
• Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics operations, including transportation and distribution of goods. Optimize routes and delivery schedules to minimize costs and improve service levels.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management practices. Ensure that stock levels are sufficient to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
• Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions regarding supply chain operations. Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance metrics.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to supply chain operations. Implement safety protocols to protect staff and inventory.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in optimizing supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
