Job Purpose

The Social -Media and Marketing Representative will work with the Group Chief Executive Officer, Global Marketing Director and Regional General Manager to align the Company’s Global focus on marketing, promotion and social media penetration. He/she will assist in the execution of inbound marketing strategy, drive social media-based marketing campaigns, maintenance and development of the corporate websites. Provide analysis of current campaigns and feed the information to the Marketing and Executive team.

Main Tasks

  1. Responsible for coordinating and preparing for expositions.
  2. Develop and optimise online marketing initiatives to drive sales.

iii. Pinpointing strategic marketing opportunities to end user clients.

  1. Develop and manage content-based Social Networks and Blog Sites.
  2. Contribute to and influence the direction of social media strategy.
  3. Setting up and optimizing company pages within each social media platform (Facebook, twitter, YouTube Instagram i.e.)

vii. Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website and create and optimize targeted and custom landing pages and micro-sites;

viii. Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.

  1. Implement, analyse, and optimize organic and paid search engine marketing activities.
  2. Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  3. Implement and execute email campaigns to nurture leads and customers;

xii. Analyse and provide weekly & monthly digital marketing metrics and lead status reports;

xiii. Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

xiv. Build and support Business Development strategies, including optimizing keywords in content marketing projects.

  1. Identify habits of our online customers and suggest ways to reach a broader audience.

xvi. Maintain a cohesive strategy across all platforms to increase our brand awareness Coordinate with the Marketing Manager and GCEO to design effective and tailor made/seasonal Social Media advertising campaigns.

  1. Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or Journalism
  2. Qualification in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management will be plus.

iii. Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of work experience as a Social Media Analyst, Digital Marketer Social Media Coordinator or similar role.

  1. Must have experience in designing brochures, flyers, branded t-shirts, logos and signposts.
  2. Must have reasonable experience in script-writing and editing.
  3. Proven Hands-on experience with social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.

vii. In-depth understanding of keyword research and Google analytics

viii. Familiarity with WordPress and content management systems is preferred.

  1. Must have a track record of managing social media accounts on multiple platforms.
