Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:**
– Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
– Evaluate the feasibility and profitability of potential partnerships and ventures.
- Strategic Planning:
– Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the overall organizational goals.
– Collaborate with the executive team to define market entry and expansion strategies.
- Client Relationship Management:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
– Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- New Business Acquisition:
– Lead the acquisition of new business by identifying and pursuing sales and partnership opportunities.
– Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for the organization.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
– Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
– Provide input into product development based on market feedback and client needs.
- Pipeline Management:
– Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up on leads.
– Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities.
- Revenue Growth:
– Meet or exceed revenue targets through effective sales and business development strategies.
– Implement pricing and contract negotiation strategies to maximize profitability.
- Market Positioning:
– Contribute to the development of the organization’s brand and market positioning.
– Identify and capitalize on opportunities to differentiate the company in the market.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
– Minimum of 10 years experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
– Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer behaviors.
– Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
– Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
– Strategic thinking with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
– Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
– Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
