Job Description: ZamBiz Solutions is looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
• Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
• Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
• Advise on a procurement strategy.
• Allocate work to subcontractors.
• Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, MS Excel).
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
