Operator Loader

Duties

The Operator – Loader 993/994 will be responsible for carrying out all duties associated with Loading operations in mining department.Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Loading materials into the haul trucks.
• Ensure Loads are property balanced and secured to prevent accidents
• Operate the Loader in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Conduct a thorough inspection of the machine to identify any damage or maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with other employees and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure the equipment is kept clean in all its interior and exterior components.
• Report all defects on the machine to the maintenance and mine dispatch section.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Must be certified to operate the Loaders 993/994
• Must have sound Knowledge of safe working procedures and mine operations
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Certificate of service from any recognized organization will be an added advantage
