Job Description

Victoria Ventures is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mining Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing effective mining plans, ensuring efficient extraction processes, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and plan mining operations, including short-term and long-term mining schedules.
• Oversee and monitor the mining process, ensuring efficient and safe extraction of minerals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments.
• Collaborate with geologists and other engineers to design and implement mining projects.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Optimize mining operations to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification or membership with a recognized engineering body is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of mining software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in mining.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering.

Skills

• Proficiency in mining software such as Surpac, Vulcan, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mining engineering.
