Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a variety of laboratory tests, including hematology, microbiology, and biochemistry.
• Analyze test results and report findings accurately to healthcare providers.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the reliability of test results.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss results and contribute to patient management.
• Educate staff and patients on laboratory procedures and safety practices.
• Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Valid certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in Zambia.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
