JOB DETAILS:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- Minimum of two year work experience in laboratory settings.
- Valid Practicing license from HPCZ.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the clinic’s laboratory.
- Oversee and coordinate laboratory testing and procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Maintain inventory and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
- Train and supervise laboratory staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret and communicate test results.
- Implement and enforce laboratory policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and address technical issues in the laboratory.
- Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and practices.
- Maintain documentation of laboratory processes and procedures.
