Our Client, with fifteen years’ experience in the office and shop-fitting world, seeks the services of a HR Officer to lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including tracking of employee attendance, payroll processing, administering pension benefits, and leave, and enforcing and developing company policies and practices.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Organize and maintain manual and computerized filing systems
Prepare and maintain accurate reports and reviewing the payroll ledger
Ensure the organization is aware of, and meets all its statutory obligations
Draft, review and edit policies, contracts and standard operating procedures.
Recruit, select and hire new employees
Oversee the onboarding process such as capturing new employee data, NAPSA, NHIMA and TPIN Registration as well as training new employees on appropriate code of conduct and policies.
Devise and review all job descriptions to meet the current needs of the organization
Handle all disciplinary and labour relations issues
Act as a bridge between management and employees
Manage staff annual leave plan for all departments through collaboration with Heads of Departments.
Track contracts for all employees on fixed term employment contracts and oversee renewal and non-renewal of contracts
Come up with an HR strategic plan that aligns with the business objective
Accurately prepare and process payroll information, keying and editing data.
Come up with Key Performance Indicators KPI to manage critical performance areas and hold accountable heads of departments
Maintain confidential information, such as employment, compensation and benefits.
