Purpose:
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the day to day management, operational activity, associated record keeping, maintenance/ repairs of sites Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Building Fabric and all soft and sub-contracted services are being completed, together with providing strategic input on all project management activity requested by the Client.

Principle Accountabilities:
Solving problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions at minimum cost.
Work closely with the Operations Director to develop and implement a comprehensive Customer Care programme tailored to the client’s needs. This to include designated points of contact and measurement and evaluation of client satisfaction.
Manage the activities of the Supervisors under their remit to ensure consistency and uniformity in delivering effective, efficient administrative procedures and producing appropriate records, reports, financial and statistical information.
Assist with any internal and external accident investigations

Requirements:
A relevant university degree (preferable).
A proven track record within a facilities management environment encompassing team leading and management skills. Ideally, the jobholder will possess a thorough technical understanding of building engineering services utilizing
Planned Preventative Maintenance techniques and a working knowledge of soft services.
