Job Description:
- Platinum Hydraulics is currently seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Driver and Errand Runner. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and personnel, as well as handling various errands and purchasing workshop consumables.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport company personnel, goods, and equipment to designated locations.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and ensure the cleanliness of the company vehicle.
- Run errands, including but not limited to, purchasing workshop consumables, delivering documents, and other miscellaneous tasks as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all trips, expenses, and errands undertaken.
- Adhere to all traffic and driving regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license as well as motor bike license.
- Must be able to drive both Manual and Automictic transmission with minimum 5 years of experience. Proven experience as a driver with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with Lusaka and its surrounding areas.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as required.
