Job Description:
North Star is looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Compliance Analyst to oversee our compliance activities in Lusaka. The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting compliance audits, and providing support to the compliance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments.
- Prepare and maintain compliance documentation and reports.
- Provide compliance training and support to staff.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and incidents.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors.
- Keep updated on changes in regulatory requirements and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Compliance Analyst or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of compliance regulations and practices.
- Proficiency in compliance management software and MS Office.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) preferred.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in compliance management.
