Company Project Engineer required for a reputed Contracting Company
Must have 4-5 years Zambia experienced in field of construction industry with Zambia driving license.
Duties:
Determines architectural features in cooperation with Design Engineer and Structures Aesthetics Section.
Determines basic structural geometry and assists designers in structural type selection.
Prepares and submits Type Selection memo.
Schedules Type Selection meeting.
Schedules strategy meetings for earthquake retrofit projects.
Prepares and submits minutes of strategy meeting.
Conducts site reviews as necessary.
Coordinates structural details and design features within the project. Conducts meetings with designers and detailers as required.
Standardizes details to permit reproduction rather than redrawing and seeks other methods of reducing plan cost.
