Job Description:
Lusaka Nexus Solutions is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The Cashier will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction by providing friendly service and ensuring that all cash and credit transactions are handled securely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile money transactions using cash registers and other payment systems.
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately.
- Provide receipts and correct change to customers.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report discrepancies.
- Assist with answering customer inquiries and providing information about products.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless shopping experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.
- Excellent numerical and cash handling skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Honest, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
