Job Description:
Lusaka Nexus Solutions is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The Cashier will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction by providing friendly service and ensuring that all cash and credit transactions are handled securely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle cash, credit, and mobile money transactions using cash registers and other payment systems.
  • Process sales transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Provide receipts and correct change to customers.
  • Balance the cash register at the end of each shift and report discrepancies.
  • Assist with answering customer inquiries and providing information about products.
  • Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless shopping experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.
  • Excellent numerical and cash handling skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Honest, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
