Quality Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure all aviation activities adhere to regulations set by the Zambian Civil Aviation Authority.

Stay updated on any changes or updates to ZCAA regulations.

Monitor and assess compliance with Zambian aviation regulations, including those related to airworthiness, operations, and personnel licensing.

Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with Zambian regulations and organizational procedures.

Collaborate with relevant departments to address any identified non-conformities.

Manage aviation-related documentation in compliance with ZCAA requirements.

Ensure that manuals and procedures align with Zambian regulatory standards.

Develop and implement training programs to ensure that personnel are well-versed in Zambian aviation regulations.

Provide training on safety practices and emergency procedures specific to Zambia.

Evaluate and monitor the quality of products and services provided by local suppliers.

Collaborate with Zambian suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Investigate incidents and accidents in accordance with ZCAA guidelines.

Implement corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents.

Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, aligning with Zambian aviation standards.

Engage with local stakeholders and industry partners to foster collaboration and share best practices within the Zambian aviation community.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of emergency response plans, taking into account Zambia’s specific geographical and logistical considerations.

Ensure accessibility of records for ZCAA audits and inspections.
