Job Description:
North Star is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Administrative Manager to oversee and manage administrative operations in Lusaka. The Administrative Manager will ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the office and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
- Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage administrative budgets and expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with administrative policies and regulations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Supervise and mentor administrative staff.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Manager or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in administrative management.
